David Cousins, MD
David is a fourth year and current Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology. He grew up in Arkansas where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. David graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2018 with honors in global health.
David selected radiation oncology because of his passion for caring for oncology patients and the technical nature of the field. He performed a rotation at UVA during medical school and is excited to return to UVA as a resident. David resides in Charlottesville with his wife. Their interests include hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
