Research/Clinical Interests
Dr. Bejarano joined UVA faculty in 2022.  She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics from the University of Miami in 2020.  She completed her CAMPEP accredited residency at the University of Virginia, Department of Radiation Oncology in 2022.  At present, she is implementing several new initiatives including documentation improvements, process optimizations for image fusions and composites, enhancing monthly and annual QA reports, aiding with treatment planning, and supporting clinical workflows with automation scripts.  Her research background includes artificial intelligence, electronic medical record and programming.  Her clinical interests are in the new ViewRay MRIdian Linac and brachytherapy.
