IR-Integrated and IR-Independent graduating residents and faculty at a 2025 graduation event.
The University of Virginia’s Interventional Radiology Integrated (IR-Integrated) residency is officially the #1 program nationwide, according to the medical networking service Doximity.
The determination was made earlier this week, when Doximity released its 2025-26 Residency Program Navigator rankings. The rankings are created through a combination of resident and alumni satisfaction data, reputation data, and objective data, according to Doximity.
Meanwhile, UVA’s Diagnostic Radiology residency ranked #19 nationally compared to other institutions; as well as #1 in Virginia and #3 in the South.
