Dr. Heyneman’s lecture covered topics related to thoracic emergencies. This talk was UVA Radiology’s first CME (Continuing Medical Education) accredited lecture, a step forward as the department strengthens its lectures series and find better ways to engage in academic activities. The CME accreditation is funded by one of the department’s endowments and is an example of the opportunities that UVA Radiology can access by counting on these gifted funds.
