Last Thursday, trainees, faculty, and staff of the University of Virginia’s Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging gathered at Carter’s Mountain Orchard to celebrate new members and the start of the academic year.
Throughout the evening, trainees, faculty, and family members enjoyed beverages, food, and views overlooking Albemarle County.
This year’s attendance was slightly higher, for a special reason: UVA Radiology was recently approved to add 2 Diagnostic Radiology Residency spots for this year, meaning that the current first-year class contains 10 residents instead of 8.
