Professor Arun Krishnaraj, MD, MPH, MBA
Arun Krishnaraj, MD, MPH, MBA, professor of radiology and medical imaging, has been awarded the 2026 Master Educator Award by UVA’s Office of Graduate Medical Education.
Dr. Krishnaraj is one of two recipients of the award this year, which reflects “outstanding dedication to teaching, mentorship, and the professional growth of our residents and fellows,” according to the GME office. Dr. Krishnaraj is a longtime member of UVA Radiology, currently serving as chief for the Body Division and the department’s Vice Chair of Quality & Safety.
Dr. Krishnaraj is the latest faculty member to be honored by the GME office, but not the only one. Last year, Professor Juliana Bueno, MD, earned the Susan Kirk Excellence in GME Mentorship Award.
A formal award ceremony to celebrate Dr. Krishnaraj’s achievement will be held later this fall.
