Last month, two members of UVA Radiology—Associate Professor Ramapriya Ganti, MD, PhD, and CT Technologist Carly Lundgren—were named to Virginia’s Advisory Board on Radiological Technology.
“I am proud to appoint the following Virginians to boards across our Commonwealth — Virginians who will use their expertise to help all our neighbors,” said Governor Abigail Spanberger in a press release. “I have full faith that Virginia will be better off with these members of our communities taking leadership roles as we continue to make our home stronger, safer, and more affordable for every family.”
These advisory boards provide advice and counsel to the executive branch of the Virginia, and serve as formal liaisons for communicating public concerns and the activities of the government agency. The Advisory Board on Radiological Technology, which is made up of three total members, will convene on September 30, 2026.
