The clinical curriculum is designed to ensure that upon graduation students have been provided with the necessary clinical exposure and instruction to function as a crucial member of an interdisciplinary team.
Students complete clinical rotations through four separate clinical sites; Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, and Neuro-Interventional Radiology.
Additionally, students will spend time shadowing LIP’s gaining an appreciation for the collaboration and patient assessment and care that is integral to providing exceptional patient care.
Clinical grades are determined from individual clinical evaluations, competencies, staff evaluations, and completion of clinical assignments.
Clinical progress is reviewed quarterly with the Program Director and Clinical Coordinators.
