Hello!! My name is Olivia. I am from Demorest, GA; a tiny town hidden in the North Georgia Mountains. From there I went college at Anderson University in SC, attended med school at Mercer in Savannah, GA, and completed my IM Prelim year in Memphis, TN. I have moved so many times, I’m practically a pro at this point.

UVA was my top choice for residency. The genuine transparency and warm welcome I received during my interview process was encouraging. Their emphasis on maintaining a positive and uplifting attitude throughout daily interactions within the hospital is something that mirrors my own efforts. I knew then that I wanted to place down roots and grow further in my training within this community.

I enjoy pretty much everything; Running, road biking, hiking, pilates, gardening, painting, house plants, aquascaping, crocheting, painting, drawing, volleyball, soccer, pickle ball, chess, cats, dogs, and even raising shrimp. I look forward to starting residency, meeting new friends, and making a life in Virginia with my 4 legged BFF (Diana).
