Hi everyone! My name is Richard, and I am originally from Beirut, Lebanon. I completed my undergraduate studies in the historic city of Byblos before returning to Beirut for medical school. I eventually made my way to Charlottesville after a *quick* stop in Houston and New York City for my research fellowship and internship years. During interview season and my trips to Charlottesville, I quickly fell in love with UVA, its people, and the charm of Charlottesville itself. Combined with the outstanding training opportunities, I couldn’t have imagined a better place to be. I’m super excited to be joining the program and exploring the great outdoors and local food scene the city has to offer!
