Hello, my name is Shanna and I am excited to continue my training at UVA!

I moved around a lot over the years, but for the last decade Virginia has been my home and I am proud to be a UVA graduate. Living in Charlottesville, I fell in love with the community, beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and people who make this area so special. When looking for residency programs, my husband and I valued UVA’s strong medical training program and the university’s location as an amazing place to raise our family. We are appreciative to have the opportunity to continue training here and growing within this community.

Outside of work, I enjoy writing, painting, photography, gardening, and spending time with my family and two dogs.
