Hi! My name is Sid Iyer, and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I stayed close to home for undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Washington, DC for medical school. I was drawn to UVA’s Integrated IR program by the glowing recommendations from my mentors and by the opportunity to receive exceptional training across both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. I wanted to be at a program where I could grow into a strong, well-rounded physician while being part of a supportive and collaborative community. I’m excited to call Charlottesville my home and look forward to exploring everything the city has to offer. Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing tennis, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
