From December 1 to December 5, department members will contribute to RSNA 2024 as presenters, moderators, and co-authors.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a special time for the department. On December 3, <strong>Stuart Berr, PhD<\/strong> and <strong>James R. Stone, MD, PhD<\/strong>, both professors in the University of Virginia&#8217;s Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, <a href=\"https:\/\/med.virginia.edu\/radiology\/2024\/11\/18\/stuart-berr-phd-and-james-r-stone-md-phd-to-receive-distinguished-investigator-award\/\">will receive the 2024 Distinguished Investigator Award<\/a> from the Academy for Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research.
