The procedure involves complete aspiration of the contents followed by alcohol scierotherapy, and is a safe and effective method that prioritizes the preservation of ovarian function.<\/p>\n<p><span data-teams=\"true\">16 years ago, Dr. Shin was the first Korean interventional radiologist to do his sabbatical at UVA! Since then, he has risen to professor of radiology at ASAN Medical Center, the largest hospital in Korea, and is president of the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology.
