“Every study, every time, is read by a radiologist with specialized fellowship training.”<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All radiologists complete general training, but UVA radiologists complete an additional fellowship year and have comprehensive\u00a0real-world experience in their specialty. Every scan a patient receives\u00a0at UVA is interpreted\u00a0by a doctor who exclusively focuses on that area of the body \u2014 helping to ensure accuracy and decreasing the need for additional imaging.<\/p>\n
