Certification Services

The Office for Student Affairs supports medical students during their time at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and provides personal, professional, and academic guidance.Through our advising program within the four Colleges, led by Drs. Densmore, Keeley, Peterson, Trimble, and Reed, we provide students with the tools they need to thrive.Students may drop by our office on the 3rd floor of the Claude Moore Medical Education Building with any personal, career, or academic concerns.

Step Exams

Students within the MD program are required to pass the USMLE Step 1, 2 CK, and 2  exams.
