Tony Kostov, MD
Hey everyone! I’m from Asheville, North Carolina, but have spent time living in several different places including New Zealand, Fiji, and Bulgaria. I went to UNC for undergrad and NSU for medical school after spending a gap year in Boston. I love anything outdoors – running, hiking, the beach, the snow, or just taking a walk, especially with friends. I love a good adventure and recently completed a 5-week road trip across the US with my wife, getting the chance to explore many of the national parks.
I had the opportunity to do an away rotation at UVA during my fourth year and loved it here! Not only are the mentorship, educational focus, research, and career opportunities fantastic, the program culture and people here are truly wonderful. Charlottesville has lots to offer from amazing outdoor recreation, to lots of great food and I’m excited to explore it all!
