Phase 3 Overview
Phase 3, the Clerkship Phase, is one year in length and is comprised of discipline-specific clinical rotations that students complete in 12-week blocks with other members of their learning community. Lasting 46 weeks, the phase includes 10 weeks of required courses, allowing for individualization of each student’s learning and preparation for residency training.
Students begin this phase with DxRx, a week-long short course on health policy for medical students heading into their fourth year. For a list of Phase 3 Electives. Learn More.
