Substance Use Helpline

The Center for Leading Edge Addiction Research or CLEAR clinic is offering a helpline for adults who are residents of the State of Virginia and would like to talk about their substance use. All consultations are completely confidential and provided at no cost.

Do you have a diagnosis or a concern about your substance use? If so, please call us at 1-844-HELP-UVA. Whether you want to address alcohol, opioid, cocaine, or any other substance use issue, our trained staff can offer individualized sessions with our social workers, educational materials, or resources and referrals to treatment in your area.

This helpline is not meant to replace any counseling or therapy you may currently be using but can offer you additional assistance with where to start for help.  Anyone with questions is welcome to call for information.
