GME Diversity Second Look
The GME Office and the Housestaff Council for Diversity and Inclusion (HCDI) will be sponsoring an opportunity for residency applicants to visit UVA Medical Center and meet with some of our current Trainees to learn what the working and lived experience is like in Charlottesville and at UVA for Trainees who identify as being underrepresented in medicine.
- This event is open only to students who have interviewed with programs whose Specialty Societies are allowing second looks and whose programs have already submitted and certified their NRMP Rank Order Lists. Please check with the program if you did not receive this invitation link directly from them.
- As this event may coincide with some departmentally sponsored second look opportunities, note that the agendas will not conflict with one another, allowing students to participate in both events.
- Participation in the GME event does not in any way impact a student’s position on a program’s NRMP rank list.
