The Blue Ridge Poison Center is a 24-hour, 7-days a week hotline for help with suspected poisonings.

Call 1-800-222-1222 right away if someone:

  • Swallows something harmful.
  • Touches or breathes something harmful.
  • Overdoses on any substance.
  • Is bitten or stung by a snake, spider, etc.

Don’t wait for the person to look or feel sick. Call even if you are not sure a poisoning happened.

Most of the time, our experts can help you resolve your poisoning quickly and on site, without having to go to a healthcare facility. Our help is confidential and FREE.
