The Department of Cell Biology is very proud to announce that Adrian Halme, Assistant Professor of Cell Biology, will receive the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching this year in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the educational missions of the School of Medicine. Fellow faculty members and a wide array of graduate, medical and undergraduate students have come to revere Adrian’s innovative and insightful efforts in shaping both course curricula and the primary research experience. It is especially gratifying that the inspiration Adrian draws from his deep appreciation for basic research has served to influence the thinking of such a broad audience.
