A Cell Biology research retreat was held on October 11th in the newly renovated meeting space on the 3rdfloor of Pinn Hall. Best Presentation awards were presented in both graduate student and postdoc categories. In the graduate student category, awards were given to Katrina McNeely (Dwyer lab) for her talk on Regulation of Cytokinesis in the Developing Mammalian Brain and to Jinwoo Lee (Thisse labs) for his talk on Modeling a Mammalian Nervous System in vitro through Instruction of Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells. In the postdoc category, the award went to Dr. Jonathan Fillatre (Thisse labs) for his talk on Transcriptional Regulation of Ciliogenesis.
