Dr. Xiaowei Lu has been named one of three Pinn Scholars for 2023. This prestigious award, named in honor of Dr. Vivian Pinn, provides $120,000 to fund a research project developed over a three-year term. The Pinn award will allow Dr. Lu to extend her long-standing world-class expertise in inner ear research to molecularly dissect how specific human deafness genes cause deafness.
