The Center welcomes its newest resident faculty member Clint Miller, PhD, who joined UVA this summer as Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences. He was previously an instructor at Stanford University in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department. Dr. Miller earned his PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Rochester and was a postdoctoral fellow in Human Genetics at Stanford University. The Miller Lab’s research focus involves the application of modern genomics to unravel complex human diseases. By integrating large-scale human genetic association data with multi-omic profiling and functional models, their work seeks to better understand causal disease mechanisms.
