Redouane Aherrahrou and Warren Anderson awarded AHA fellowships

Congratulations to Redouane and Warren! Both are Research Associates in the Civelek Lab, and have been awarded an American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship which will commence on July 1, 2018 and will support each of them for two years. The title of Redouane Aherrahrou’s grant is: “A novel mechanism by which the CAD risk gene MIA3 regulates phenotypic transition of vascular smooth muscle cells.”  Warren Anderson’s grant is entitled: “Investigating the role of KLF14 in gene expression regulation and adipocyte metabolism.”
