The qMD student organization at the UVA School of Medicine staffed a table at the 2017 Cville Pride Festival on Saturday, September 16. The organization’s goals are to provide education and help improve access to healthcare for LGBTQ populations. The OB/GYN faculty at UVA has worked together with the qMD students to offer blood pressure monitoring and health screening to attendants at the Cville Pride Festival. This is the 4th year the OB/GYN department has sponsored this event. Thank you to our volunteers for your contribution of time and energy!
