Faculty Affairs

The Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development supports University of Virginia School of Medicine faculty throughout their careers in their work as teachers, investigators, and patient care providers.

LCME Accreditation

The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) is officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit medical schools in the United States and Canada. It has joint oversight by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the American Medical Association (AMA) but is an independent organization.

Alumni Association

The University of Virginia Medical Alumni Association is dedicated to enhancing the experience of students, house staff, alumni and faculty of the UVA School of Medicine by creating opportunities for mentoring, networking, scholarship and philanthropy.
