The School of Medicine is thrilled to congratulate 42 Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (BIMS) students who were conferred Doctor of Philosophy degrees in the 2024-25 academic year. We celebrated these PhD students on May 18 at the Biomedical Sciences Hooding Ceremony—a day of great achievement and promise as they take the next steps in a lifelong pursuit of scientific discovery. It is their innovation, curiosity, and persistence in research that will lead to life-saving treatments for patients here in Virginia and across the globe. Congratulations!
