Congratulations to Elizabeth Pereira, who was awarded an NIH F31 – Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award through the NCI.

Elizabeth Pereira was awarded an NIH F31 Ruth L. Kirchstein NRSA for Individual Predoctoral Fellows through the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which began on 7/1/17. Working in Dr. Kevin Janes’ lab in the Biomedical Engineering department, Elizabeth studies the role of a stress-induced transcription factor, NRF2, and its interaction with the tumor suppressor p53 in triple-negative breast cancer.
