Congratulations to James McCann, who was awarded an NIH F31 – Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award

James McCannJames McCann has been awarded an NIH F31, an Individual Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which began on 1/13/17. He is a visiting graduate student in the lab of Dr. Andrew Dudley in Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology.  His thesis research is focused on a micoRNA mediating vascular directed fibrinolysis and tumor progression.

James moved here with his mentor in the summer of 2016 and will be earning his PhD from the University of North Carolina.
