Research Description
Our research focuses on the molecular basis of smooth muscle contraction, the role of RhoA GTP exchange factors (GEFs) and GTP activating proteins (GAPs) in smooth muscle signaling, and identifying selective therapeutic targets related to these molecules. Studies are conducted at various levels, from molecular to animal models, to understand the function of these signaling molecules in both normal and diseased states.
