This year’s recipient of the Cell and Molecular Biology Outstanding Graduate Student Award is Jacob Jaszczak (Ph.D. 2015) Jacob completed his graduate thesis in the Halme lab investigating pathways though which tissues can talk with each other to coordinate their growth and produce adults of proper proportion. This award is given every year to a student in the department of Cell Biology who demonstrates outstanding research scholarship, leadership, and service to the community. We wish Jacob all the best in his postdoctoral position at UCSF in Yuh Nung Jan’s laboratory. Congratulations Jacob!
