Our Services

Research Data
A full-service, trained and certified, Epic EHR data team that can create & supply datasets, reports, extracts, data marts and databases.

Electronic Data Capture & Databases
Providing: Secure web applications for building and maintaining databases and surveys including 21 CFR part 11 compliance and  research data biorepository database management.

Application Developers and Application Support
Application developers for custom systems such as the Commons, MuSIC, iThriv portal and Research Data Enclave. Support of applications such as Emerse (tool that searches clinical notes)  and Trinetx (web based application with a limited dataset that can be used for feasibility studies) and other self-service platforms.

Other Systems
Electronic Medical Record Search Engine (EMERSE) is an open-source clinical notes search tool developed at the University of Michigan to help researchers, clinicians, and operational staff rapidly search free-text electronic health record (EHR) documentation. It’s a self-service tool allowing authorized, IRB-approved users to search Epic clinical notes and reports for research purposes.

Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP)
OMOP Common Data Model is a standardized healthcare data model developed and maintained by the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) community. It converts data from sources such as Epic, claims systems, and registries into a common structure and standardized vocabularies (e.g., SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm), enabling consistent analytics and multi-site research.
