DNA Sciences resource statement

The DNA Sciences Core is a fee-for-service Genome Analysis and Technology Core that provides instrumentation and expertise in all areas of genomics and transcriptomics. The professional staff provides high quality Next-Gen sequencing on either a MiSeq or NextSeq500 instrument. Examples of applications supported by the center includes RNA Seq, Chip Seq, ATAC Seq, Amplicon Seq, 16S metagenomics, small genome sequencing and, coming soon, single cell genomics. The technology core supports access to digital droplet PCR, real time PCR services and instrumentation. In addition, the core staff provides project consultation, training, quality control services and custom library preparation. The facility consists of two laboratory suites located on the first floor in Pinn Hall and is easily accessible to all University investigators and outside customers.
