CPHG congratulates Dr. Ani Manichaikul who has been named to the 2022 class of UVA Pinn Scholars! The Pinn Scholars Award is named in honor of the extraordinary career of Dr. Vivian Pinn, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the inaugural director of the NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health. The Pinn Scholars Program seeks to recognize and reward research faculty whose scientific expertise and productivity, mentorship, and service have resulted in significant contributions to the School of Medicine and the greater research community.
Congratulations also goes to Dr. Hui Li, Professor of Pathology and affiliate member of the CPHG, and one of the other new Pinn Scholars.
