Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

UVA HR is the sole agency authorized to assist with the completion of PSLF forms and all loan related verifications. As a result, Graduate Medical Education programs is not able to verify trainee employment for PSLF forms. This is also true for loan deferment and/or forbearance requests.

All PSLF form requests must be directed to UVA HR. You can find more information on how to submit your request through their platform here:

1. Required Documentation: When submitting your PSLF request to UVA HR, please ensure you include any necessary documentation for verification to avoid delays in processing.
2. Verification Timeline: Requests will be processed directly through UVA HR, and you will be notified of the status of your PSLF request once submitted.
