RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Clinical research in hematologic malignancies, fertility preservation, and quality improvement.
RESEARCH SUMMARY:
Dr. Douvas participates in clinical research primarily through the Hematologic Malignancy Clinical Research program headed by Dr. Michael E. Williams. He is a principal and co-investigator on several clinical trials for leukemia, lymphoma, and sarcoma patients. He is board-certified in Adult Hematology and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. He is a co-investigator on Children’s Oncology Group clinical research protocols about caring for young adults with cancer. He also has research projects in symptom management in young adults/adolescents with cancer and fertility preservation.
