TEAM MEMBERS

Melina R. Kibbe, MD, is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering that has significant experience with both open and endovascular surgery, including the treatment of carotid stenosis, peripheral vascular disease, and abdominal aortic aneurysms. She is board certified in general and vascular surgery and is a Registered Vascular Technologist and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Kibbe is also the Editor in Chief of JAMA Surgery.

Nick D. Tsihlis, PhD, is a Professor of Research in the Departments of Surgery and Biomedical Engineering with significant experience in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, nanoscale materials, nitric oxide biology, surgical models of disease, and vascular biology.
