Two MIC Graduate Students Attend “Network of Immunology Frontier Winter School on Advanced Immunology in Singapore”

Alyse Frisbee and Mahmoud Saleh (Petri Lab) both received travel grants to attend the course and present their dissertation research. Their oral presentations were entitled:
“IL-33 promotes a protective host immune response during hypervirulent C. difficile infection” by Alyse Frisbee
“Inflammatory Bowel Disease as a Risk Factor for C. difficile Infection” by Mahmoud Saleh

(The Winter School was created in 2011 by members of SIgN and IFReC. The aim is to provide an opportunity for 50 selected international PhD students and young postdocs to meet with a Faculty of 20 world-class experts and explore networking and learning in Asia).
