The qMD student organization at the UVA School of Medicine once again staffed a table at the 2019 Cville Pride Festival on Saturday, September 14. This is the 5th year the OB/GYN department has sponsored this event.
The student organization works to educate and improve access to healthcare for LGBTQ populations. The OB/GYN faculty at UVA has worked together with the qMD organization to offer blood pressure monitoring and health screening as well as general health information to attendants of the Cville Pride Festival. Thank you to our volunteers for your contribution of time and energy!
