Chris Chisholm, MD named to the John M. Nokes Professorship in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Christian A. Chisholm, MD

Dr. Christian A. Chisholm, MD, and Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was recently named to the John M. Nokes Professorship in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Chisholm has worked tirelessly to provide excellent care to patients, train innumerable residents and students, and provide consultation to referring providers. On the state level, he serves on the Virginia Newborn Screening Advisory Committee, the Emergency Department Care Coordination Council and is the ACOG representative on the Executive Committee of the Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative. He has served since 2008, as part of the panel of 3 physicians on the Virginia Birth-Related Neurologic Injury Fund.
