Dr. Kari L. Ring named as Inaugural James and Vicki Orr Faculty Scholar

Congratulations to Dr. Kari L. Ring, a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Division in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia, who was named the inaugural James and Vicki Orr Faculty Scholar.

Dr. Ring’s research interests include increasing access to genetic testing and cancer prevention care for rural patients, as well as prevention studies for high risk mutation carriers. As associate Fellowship Director, Dr. Ring is also actively supporting research projects of Fellows in GynOnc.
