Shalini Subbarao, MD
Ob Gyn Resident
Dr. Subbarao is from St. Louis, Missouri. She went to Duke University for her undergraduate degree and majored in Biology and Global Health. Then she came to the University of Virginia for medical school.
She is excited to continue exploring Charlottesville: hiking more Shenandoah trails and visiting more local wineries and breweries (her favorites so far include Mount Ida and Hazy Mountain wineries).
Her career interests include urogynecology, research, and medical education. In her free time, she likes dancing, cooking, and watching college basketball. Go Blue Devils (and Go Hoos when they’re not playing the Blue Devils)!
