Dean’s New Faculty Research Seminar Series

First Thursday of every month.

Each month, the School of Medicine will host a seminar highlighting two recently hired assistant professors to present a 30-minute introduction to their research program. The goal is to introduce our talented new faculty to the broader research community within the UVA School of Medicine and to potentially seed new cross-school collaborations.

• Timothy Martin, PhD from Pharmacology
  Title:  Identifying new therapeutic targets to enhance anti-tumor immunity
• Christine Nelson, PhD from Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care
  Title:  Mechanisms of T cell-mediated immunity to Mycobacterium tuberculosis
