SOM Faculty Research Retreat 2017 – Registration

Saturday luncheon will include the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions regarding the following research collaborations/initiatives. Please choose one: 1. The integrated Translational Health Research Institute (iTHRIV) to discuss shared research resources and best practices, team science, community engagement, and innovation. 2. The Center for Engineering in Medicine to discuss generating, developing, and translating innovative ideas at the engineering-medicine interface to improve prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of disease. 3. The Office of Research Core Administration will convene several Core Directors to discuss your projects and provide advice on how they can support them. Stop by the table and register for a door prize ($500 service in any core). 4. The Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN), to discuss how to access and utilize data from one of the largest cancer research networks in the country. 5. Digital Health (e/m/health) researchers will provide a forum for faculty to discuss conducting or utilizing various digital health programs as part of their research, including web-based, mobile, sensor, and other relevant type of applications. 6. Biomedical imaging directors and researchers from multiple departments will discuss the imaging facilities and equipment available at UVa and help connect you to potential collaborators.
