Bio

Dr. Dodd was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and grew up in Miami and later Atlanta. She studied agriculture and poultry science at the University of Georgia, where she also earned a minor in French. She completed medical school at Emory University, where she developed a strong commitment to caring for underserved communities. She is interested in pursuing a career in Uveitis or Vitreoretinal Surgery. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her young son, and her extended family.

Bio

Dr. Hom is from Cleveland, Ohio. Since starting residency at UVA, he has especially enjoyed watching cataract surgery and retinal procedures, and he is eager to explore where his career in ophthalmology will take him. In his free time, he enjoys wine tasting, learning about investing and business, and listening to podcasts.

Bio

Dr. Robinson grew up in rural southern Oregon, where a love of the outdoors sparked her early interest in human biology. She studied human biology and global health at the University of California, San Diego, before moving across the country to attend medical school at the University of Virginia. Her passion for eye health has led her to consider a career in pediatric ophthalmology, where she hopes to help children thrive in school and in life. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Virginia’s outdoors and pursuing creative projects in arts and crafts.

We look forward to the impact each of them will have on our department and community in the years ahead.
