Join us at the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville for the UVA Voice & Stroboscopy Course. This two-day intensive course is designed to provide practical and hands-on education for speech-language pathologists and otolaryngologists in laryngeal anatomy, voice disorders, and the performance and interpretation of laryngeal stroboscopy.

Course Faculty will include the UVA Voice Center team as well as experts from a variety of related disciplines. Hands-on, small group instruction in both rigid and flexible endoscopy will be provided on both days of the conference with live volunteers.

This conference is appropriate for beginner through advanced-level clinicians.

The City of Charlottesville is a historic and beautiful location for one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the nation. The metropolitan area is approximately 100,000 people, and varied living accommodations are available, whether you want to live downtown or out in the country, new community or old.

While you're here, you can tour the UVA campus, walk along the Rivanna River Trail, visit the downtown mall, grab a doughnut or a drink with a view at Carter Mountain, or enjoy any number of local activities.

Lodging & Logistics

There are a number of hotels near the building where the stroboscopy course is taking place with the Hilton Garden Inn being the closest.

Parking is free and in abundance on the weekends directly in front of the building.

Food and drink will be provided (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) for during the course. We do our best to provide a variety of food to accommodate for various dietary restrictions (kosher, vegetarian, dairy free), but please email the course coordinator Stephen Oswald (zrz2ht@uvahealth.org) once you have signed up to inform him if you have any dietary restrictions so we can provide food that meets your needs.
