2025 PGY4 and Chief Resident Natalie Hillerson has been awarded the Mulholland Award for Teaching Excellence in Basic Sciences. Each year, the Mulholland Society and Graduate Medical Education office call for nominations from all students for residents and fellows. This award serves to recognize excellence in medical student teaching that occurs formally and informally during pre-clerkships, clerkships, and 4th year electives.

During her residency, Natalie has served as the Medical Student Rotation Director, and has taught several pre-clerkship lectures, including in the general histology courses and transfusion medicine thread.
