Study Title: Perception of Life Events as Invisibly Orchestrated
Protocol #: 7385

Call for research participants who have felt that certain events in their lives were invisibly guided or orchestrated

The Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia is recruiting for an online study researching individuals who have experienced events in their lives that felt invisibly orchestrated or guided. These may be events that feel too improbable to be just chance or that feel somehow arranged by a force beyond human control. If you’ve had one or more such experiences, this study invites you to describe your experiences and how they’ve affected your beliefs and emotions, in order to contribute to a deeper understanding of these phenomena and their impact on people’s lives.

Participation in the study will take 20-40 minutes of your time and will consist of a single online questionnaire. You are eligible to participate if you have had an experience like this, are 18 years of age or older, and are fluent in English. You will not be paid for your participation.

If you are interested in enrolling in this study, please follow this link to the questionnaire: https://virginia.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dp6b9eQtw0IPPJI
